The term employment does not refer to working directly for Care For People but, instead, refers to the opportunities to work for clients of Care For People.

      Care For People is a referral agency that refers Self- Employed Independent Contractors who provide in-home care to the sick, elderly and handicapped. As a Self-Employed Independent Contractors there are no benefits nor are there taxes collected or paid on your behalf.

     Because you are responsible for your own benefits you are paid a much higher wage than people who work as an employee. Generally the amount paid in any given area is as much as fifty percent more than what an employers pay. As an Independent Contractor you decide what cases you will work on, what hours you will work, what days you will work and how much you will charge. 

     We are not a medical service and take no clients whose basic need is medical care. We do things like help people get out of bed, cook for them, clean up the kitchen and do light house work, run errands or at times just be a companion.

     Care For People requirements are that caregivers  be honest, caring and reliable.
